Who am I?
I’m a 2022 first generation graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I earned my B.S. in Communications with a minor in Sociology. I’ve always been drawn to connection, creativity, and meaningful work. In my free time you can find me hiking, crafting, or cooking.
After college, I began my career as an Event Manager at the Chattanooga Convention Center, where I immersed myself in the community and supported a wide range of events. During that time, I worked behind the scenes on Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga’s signature fundraiser, Wine Women & Shoes.
Around the same time, my younger brother was in the hospital on a ventilator, fighting for his life. As I spent more time learning about RMHC’s mission—to keep families close to their critically ill or injured children—I felt a deep, personal connection to the work and knew I wanted to be part of it.
I joined RMHC as a Digital Marketing Associate, managing social media and newsletters. Within a year, I was promoted to Communications Manager and took on oversight of all front-facing marketing and communications. Six months later, I stepped into the role of Director of Marketing and Communications.
Over the past three years, it has been an incredible privilege to serve this mission. Working inside the House, building relationships with families, sharing their stories, and RMHC’s impact has been the most meaningful part of my career.
I recently made the decision to move back to Middle Tennessee to be closer to my family. While leaving a mission so close to my heart has been bittersweet, I’m excited for what’s ahead and eager to bring my experience, creativity, and passion to a new opportunity.
